WHAT CAN YOU DRIVE FOR SUCH A LOW PRICE THAT OFFERS THE UTILITY AND QUALITY OF THIS VEHICLE?

The ZEV Micro is a 3 passenger vehicle, intended to provide the lowest possible transportation cost, maximum hauling ability, and treated as a motor scooter for the lowest registration cost. A large opening 2 door vehicle able to carry three adults.  It has a cargo trunk for hauling with a gas lift top, and a one of a kind unique tailgate for loading long or heavy items without lifting the load up and down into the trunk.

The goal was a vehicle for personal utility use that unlike a golf cart or UTV/ATV, is legal to drive on the street anywhere in the country, but sell for less than new golf carts or UTV, and to be the lowest possible cost of ownership vehicle on any vehicle with more than 2 wheels.  With the large lockable trunk, we expect this vehicle to be used for delivery also.

It can be driven with just a car license in most USA states. It is legal to drive everywhere as a motorcycle. In some USA states it can be driven with no license or registration where Moped laws exist. For those states that the speed be restricted to 25 mph or less or the power to be lower than standard, we can supply a special variant to conform to those rules.  The T3-1 is can also be configured/sold as an enclosed mobility scooter in all areas we have encountered so far.

ZEV achieved the quality and room of far more expensive small car interiors. 

• Surprising headroom.  A 5 ft 11 driver has 9 inches of headroom (AC reduces headroom)
• Big doors make entry and exit easy.  The door opening comes behind the front edge of the rear seat to aid this further. 
• The large door and space behind the seat will easily hold folding wheelchairs.
• The rear seat folds down to be used as an additional storage space.  It further then will flip forward and fold to the floor to have steel tray for carrying additional goods (if the huge rear trunk is not already enough).

Ventilation.  The roof has a forward facing air scoop so that any forward movement drives fresh air down into the cabin and out the vents or windows.  Under the air scoop are two fans (and a dome light). 

BE Aware - ZEV electric cars run cool inside, the are not hot like a gas or diesel inside.  There is no engine heat blowing over and under the cabin from the radiator fan.  There is no hot exhaust under the cabin heating it up.

A roof mounted air conditioner is an option.  The AC does reduce cabin headroom.  It also reduces range up to 20% and should be considered when selecting battery size options for range.
